David Barney is a NASM certified personal trainer with a BS in exercise science from the University of Kansas. He competes in the CVBA and plays volleyball almost every weekend here in Laguna Beach. David likes to make sure every one of his clients has correct form and good posture inside and outside the gym. He believes proper exercise of the whole body improves your quality of life.
Emily graduated from Belmont University with an Exercise Science degree. She fuses stretching, strengthening and mindfulness to help you connect to your true self. She has 200 hour yoga works R.Y.T and 95 hour Wee Yogis R.C.Y.T. She believes no one should ever come to you without leaving happier.
Sandra is a ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer and AFAA Group Certified Instructor. Sandra’s positive outlook and support for her clients is what inspires her fitness programs. She is equally adept at working with beginners and experts. An avid athlete growing up, she believes that fitness should be fun, not painful and boring.
April earned her Bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Illinois College. April has been a Personal Trainer for 17 yrs. She specializes in whole-food plant-based nutrition for reversing and preventing disease from eCornell University, weight management, strength training, sports conditioning, rehab, functional training, fitness competition, leaning out and building lean muscle. April utilizes free weights, kettlebells, medicine balls, functional equipment, TRX, and body weight exercises to help you reach your fitness goals.
Born and raised in Rochester New York, Ellis is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. A graduate of Nazareth College where he played on the 2011 National Champion Volleyball team, Ellis is now a competitive beach volleyball player. A firm believer in the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, Ellis is committed to guiding his clients to their Wellness and Fitness goals.
Born on the Island of Oahu Peggie Sue is a military brat and moved around the country. She is a 3 time nationally qualified bikini competitor who loves to dance and walk on the beach listening to Nero-linguistic programming lectures. She taught her first aerobic class at 16. holds professional certifications in medical assisting, aerobics, Zumba, Zumba toning, Fitness, Sports Physiology, Results Coach, Lifestyle and weight management specialist, Stress management, Life strategies (NLP) and she is a second-degree black belt in taekwondo. She is focused on helping her clients obtain not only physical fitness but a full holistic happy balance to their lifestyle overall.
